b16 or b18 vtec head?

Default b16 or b18 vtec head?

i wana know which of the two is better? i wana make ls vtec, but i wana get the parts that give the most performance and one that can handle it.
any opinions or facts LMK.

Does the ls block have stock pistons?

I'd at least go with some ITR pistons or equivalent just to bump compression up a bit.

Replace the pistons or it will be ass slow. I say b16, I always was told/heard b16s flow the best

yea b18c1 head im tlk about, how much is a type r head? type r heads are better the both of them right
