93EX to Si upgade??

Iv got a 93 civic EX and Im thinking about up gradeing it to a
Si I know the tranny needs to be changed but what eles?? it
is the D16z6 engine let me know

I assume your talking about upgrading the engine/mission to 99-00 si spec?
You need..
engine/mission
mounts 94+ teg upper drivers all the rest off the si should work.
shift linkage
throttle cable
axles and intermediate shaft(should be on mission)
ecu you can get you 93 ex chipped to dohc spec or get a hondata
the cat may need to be shortened/lengthend
I think thats it.

no I want to do the 92-95 Si I want to stick to the SOHC thing
I know its not as much power but cash flow is a prob. and i
dont have the time to do a swap but any other info on head
or tranny swaps would help very much

Do you want a 96+ vtec head?
If you really want a 92-95 si mission I could sell you mine. But they are the same as the ex.

What are you trying to gain?

no Im just not sure if the Si has a diffrent
ECUcam injectorsect. I know the tranny from the SI has a
better gear setup but as far as the rest i dont know

realy.....good to know thanks man you are truly a welth of
knwlodge everywere I have looked there was no dead set
thing saying the actual diff. between the two cars just that
they have the D16z6 well now for my next prob. geting new
valve springs I kinda fucked mine up it feels like the valves
are floating at high rpm that and they need to be tightend
down they are just a little loose do you know the gap for the
valves???

Look under the hood for your emissions label. Should tell you all about your catalyst as well as plug gap and valve lash.
How did you manage to fuck up your valve springs?
