93EX to Si upgade??
I burried my speedo and I am guessing that I was doing
about 140ish the needle was strait down
oops....so it
feels like its time to finaly replace those nice OEM valve
springs with some better ones do you know if I can swap
some heavyer duity ones out of another honda/acura
engine??

well the y8 head has a better intake manifold and a smaller combustion chamber yeilding a higher compression that will help you. and the trannys dont need to be changed. but thats the head swap from a si to a later modle(96) and up ex.
You should not have valve float from one 140mph trip also if you havent touched the governor or ecu your car cuts out at 120??? If you must though swap a 96+ head as eg stated above or just get some new valve springs from honda for the 96+.

the car has a rpm limeter and it shuts off at 7600rpm and as
far as the head gos I need the y8 from a 96 and up D block
very cool EG you are the man
I would like to do a cam
change but Im not that rich....I can pull a y8 swap but a cam
thats another story with the head will it bolt right or am I
gonna need any thing eles to complet the swap???

likeing the y8 swap is there any more info that some one
could give me on anything eles I might need for the swap
besides the normal head gasketseals like head
