Default Tranny leaking and clutch wet?

So my friend seems to think his LS tranny is leaking onto his clutch and making it slip. As far as I know there is no seal where the Main shaft is, so is he wrong and his clutch is just going or is this a probability?

BTW the 2 bolts for the rear mount are fucked up, and barely thread on, so could it not be pulling it flat enough with the block to seal it? Shed some light please guys were stumped.

one way to find out.. get under the car take the flywheel cover off and check for oil residues... if its slipping that noticeable then there most be oil in there..

the only way oil would get in there is the front main seal. Whoever put the new one in probably knicked up the front main seal housing.

Could also be a hairline crack in the tranny casing. This happened to a friend of mine with only 350whp or so and alot of hard launches. Tranny can leak from where the input shaft comes out of the bell housing. I've replaced those seals on BMW trannies but have never needed to on a Honda, but I'm sure it is possible.

Rear main seal or input shaft seal.

I was gona say cracked casing, but you usually only see that on high whp cars. Iv never seen it leak from the input shaft seal.
