hey everyone. Im trying to get some pros and cons on what to do to my 98 Integra LS. On one hand I would like to do the lsvtec conversion. But from what Ive heard theyre not very reliable for an everyday driven car. Is this true? On the other hand. I have heard that you can bore out the 1.8 to make it a 2.0 and add stronger pistons and be very reliable. Like I said this will be a daily driven car. Any other opinions or suggestions of what I can do to this car are welcome. thanks!!

Id like to be in the mid to low 13s. Maybe mid to high 12s as long as I can stay reliable. Not really sure what I want to spend total on the engine. If you could could you list me some suggestions you might have and some appx prices if so I would really appreciate it. thank you!!!!

high 12s in an integ. get ready to fork over some money.
i spent over 2000 on my ls vtec and im only high 13.
but mine is rebuild from scratch. all new oil pump/water pump all bearings/ arp bolts/type r pistons/dc header/

i only run prob high 13s
if u want 12s get cr/vtec not 1.8 bored out.
and look to spend around 3000 to get there. unlss u can get parts REALLY CHEAP.
also my car is SUPER RELIABLE. just dont go with to high of compression. try 11 to 1 or 11.5

you could do it without changing a thing to the motor itself. Of course if you wanted to go VTEC thats another 40-60 horsepower right there...[/b][/quote]

If I wanted to go all motor. would it be best to bore it to the 2.0 or do the lsvtec? Which would I get the best performance results from? My guess would be the lsvtec...but what the hell do I know

Hybrid N/A is definately cooler!!!!!!!!!!
