CRX suspension quesion...
Hey
Im trying to decide between a set of Ground control coil overs or a set of Eibach springs for my 90 CRX.
My concerns are:
1) Handling
2) Comfortable ride
Im not too concerned with a slammed look but I like the adjustablity of the coil overs. Im tired of suspension that is either too damn bouncy (neuspeeds) or too damn stiff (generic springs). I currently have Tokico blues.
Are there other set-ups I should also consider?
(Im looking to spend under 400.)
Thanks
Mike.

I feel like Im always saying this but go with GC coilovers.
They use Eibach springs and if you desire you can choose the spring rates when you purchase.
Of course there are other alternatives like a true threaded body shocks but Im just a sucker for Ground Control.
Currently Im running on H&R sports and they are a quite a bit too soft for my liking. I ran Skunk2s for a little while with a 300f/400r (or something like that) and it was pretty streetable as long as the Konis were dialed down enough. Ended up selling em though because I needed to make a quick buck. After this Christmas and depending on finances Im going to pick up a set of GC coilovers w/ a 350f/400r spring rate. Ive tried this setup out in a friends ride and I was pretty impressed with the streetability/performance ratio of it. Well thats my two cents decide for yourself.

Thanks for the input Bill many people have been telling me the same thing that you are saying.
But Ive heard that the GCs have a slightly more harsh ride than the springs. Not true??

Yes they have a harsher ride if you go for a very stiff spring rate. No they dont have a harsher ride if you go for a softer spring rate. It all comes down to preference.
Best bet is to call up GC themselves and have a conversation with them as to what best suits your needs. Theyll be able to pick the right spring rate for you if you end up going that route.
