Well since a bulk of the sunroofs weight is in the motor and track assembly I think it would be stupid to replace your glass and only remove some of the weight. It probably replaces it all.

You could of course just start out with a DX or HF and save yourself a lot of money in the process.

that is so wrong. if you buy a dx then you pay for the extra wiring. if you buy a hf you pay for the new hubs. also dx and hf dont come in black or yellow or teal so take that si hater.

i thought about fiberglass doors & front but then i also thought about the stregnth if i were to get hit at 3mph so i scraped the idea.

Actually now that I think about it I wish I coulda started with a DX or HF before I did a swap...i almost cry everyday when i see DX/HFs going for less than 2 grand in the paper.

Not hating on the Sis of course I wouldnt want to hurt my rexos feelings

Ah ha Thats what Im doing nah nah!

Actually I am glad it isnt an si but I wouldt have minded if it were. It wouldve saved me the trouble of installing an after market moon roof.

I stripped mine out from buckets back got 2 racing buckets cheap from a friend and threw the swap in now worries of weight anymore.
