LoL.. yeah sounded good huh.. no other motors. just had a head off my old motor...
I am actually going to go turbo by summer time. I was told by people that the geometery of the b16 head was closer to the type r head then the GSR and it would be worth switching. keep advice coming I wanna know before I do the switch. This motor is actually just getting droped into the car. what would the wiring differnces be if I put the whole GSR in my EF I already had a b16 thats another reason why they talked me into it.. said my wiring wouldnt have to change.

also keep in mind that I have both heads already so let me know of any switching of parts that someone knows works.. do the GSR valves fit in the B16? Combonations of different cams etc..

I had this swap on my last GSR becuz I blew my GSR head. Not recommended if youre not going high compression pistons becuz like they said u will lose compression (unless of course ure planning on going turbo but in that case id just use an LS motor). On my swap I used B16 pistons in my GSR block but for even higher compression CTR pistons and CTR cams would make a wicked motor. But if ure going to do all that you might as well get the head ported. So I guess the smartest (cheapest) route would be to sell the head and get a Skunk manifold. Unless you dont mind being carless for a month or so.

ok so I think I might stay with the GSR head then and sell the b16 head. Now.. what are the differences in wiring.. I have had a JDM b16 in my 89 civic but am switching to the GSR what changes in wiring will I need to make.. will my engine wiring harness hook up to everything if not what do I need to change or add..
