$5000. for what. The block head rods what else is there. alternator and things of that sort but that cant be too much.

the b20 uses mostly ls internals (if not all??)
so you can go cheap and use stock ls parts or you can make it worthwhile and throw in some goodies.
i advise to pm mr selfdestruct if you have not already i have seen and even driven the one he built and it is quite nice.

yes the only thing that is any differnt is the pistons/rings internally in the block. basiclly build a ls/vtec on paper and add like 400 more for the block and thats it.
