yeah i understand that z6 heads are killer and everything, but when i crank my car up, my vtec w/ just one vtec popping, pops like a b16, thats what i got out of it, so thats why i say its better than the z6, and i could imagine with both of my vtecs popping at one time. lol.

Anyways, for what block im gonna put the head on is gonna be on a z6, and get arp head bolts, and my vtec im probably gonna have someone do it for me, after im done building my civic, im gonna paint my car. and far as my vtecs, im gonna take my car to be tune and who ever does it, can wire both vtecs to either pop at one time, or one pops at low rpms and the other at high rpms, and far as distributor, im using the one it came on it already, thats about it, but it should run strong, im building mine for all motor.

yeh..my dizzy will fit but only 2 bolts line up so i dont really want to use it when its not gonna be done the right way....and i knew this head would b stronger then the z6 head...its build way different on the inside....it should hit way harder...my car runs a 15.3 now so and its al stock so once i get all these things done to it it should be like low 14s all motor den im boosting later...
but thanks guys

u do know that the forum d-series.org under the naturally aspirated section has all the parts number and info you need about using jdm d15 and so forth... u may wanna browse there and see if you can gather more info about other peeps who have done this swap and what parts you will need to make it run proper! I agree with others here, do it right or don't do it at all! that being said, g/l with build!

I think this ranks up there with one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Your single overhead cam vtec motor will never "pop" as hard as a B16. Seeing as a B16 has an extra cam for the exhaust side including rockers for the "vtec popping". Unless what you mean by "pop" is throw a rod through your block.

I am working on getting the swap into my del sol.

dealing with the wiring here as you can see. I am only aiming for the gas mileage and not so much the 130 hp.
