need help trouble shootin ls vtec oil leak

ehhh im with rang on this one, ive used both the the ball hone and the spring hone when i have been too broke to go to the machine shop, it gives so-so results and its not really consistant. rang has a lot of experience and im pretty sure he can use a hone, its not that hard. hone a block urself, then bring it to a machine shop and see which one has a better finish. if you tell me they are the same you are a liar or blind.

im not big on hondas but some piston rings are cut at an angle if you put them upsidedown it cold cause that also not lining your oil rings properly
