build 2 sohc's using ls rods and vitara pistons...a good turbo kit will get you up near 300. then you have a spare so you can pound the fuck out of it and not worry about being down for more than a few hours.

DOHC all day. My friend has a fully built top to bottom single cam big turbo and barely makes 300whp. You can make that on a stock b16 w/ a turbo kit
