+1 for the oil pump n water pump. make sure u use the GSR timing belt if u get the vtec water pump. this will just be added security for the motor. and the Golden Eagle kit gets rid of a lot of the headahce if u have not done anything like this before.

im with sleep what ever head you can get a better price,i say go with lsvtec cause you can sell that b20 block and use that money to get a head you will not get much money for the block,i myself dont like the golden eagle kit,but on a oil pump obd2 is best water pumps are the same either is fine vtec or non i like useing ls myself just cause the ls timing belts are 25bucks cheaper then a vtec one.just take your time you will enjoy it,i read the N20 you will need aftermarket parts if you going to use hat but if you have the money go for it

about the same price around 300-400 as long as you have a head.thats for just the main things like
new rings
bearings
seals
headgasket
vtec items"oil line, tapping and plugging the head, and dowel pins"
arp rod bolts
polishing the crank&honeing the block

Hey let me know if you are interested in me building the engine! Will bore, tol all surfaces, plastigage all bearings, match rod weight, check crank for balance and adjust if needed! Have built over 100 race b-series engines! Get a quote from anyone qualified to do this and ill beat it by 25% and will stand by my build!
Thanks,
Carter

haha im so good i build mine without takin the block outa the car! woot woot! in the long run tho if u want to make the most power, youll need to move more air. the easiest way to do that is with a 2l setup. BUT....i love the way my ls vtec runs right now. like i said, beat on daily, bone stock gsr head, bolt ons, itr pistons, and a good street tune. it makes around 180 at the wheels, and gets 34 mpg. ive got cams on the way, but this has been my setup for over a year now and i have no complaints at all. do it right n ull be happy.
