it can be done but on a big build in which it will benefit the most from with accomodating parts. most people on street setups usually have stock oem parts to get their motor running and possibly in the future upgrade.

+1 i plan on using ctr cams and nothing bigger than a 65mm tb (which i just put on). and im on the ls displacement so my motor moves more air than a gsr. that being said if i were to use a bigger tb it would probably be on a 2.0l motor. thats where youll really gain the advantage. even with bigger cams there is still no replacement for displacement.

thats what i had and made great whp with it. yeah, 65mm is about the biggest you would want to go on a 1.8
