turbo project need help

Default turbo project need help

okay tr i have a z6 and my friend just blew his turbo's on his tt 300zx and only one blew n i was wondering if i could use the turbo that's not blown,not sure if it a t3 or t4...its a garret t28.LMK if i can use it.

Sure you can. You can use any turbo that isnt a diesel turbo. just make sure you get the right manifold for it.

+ 2 why wouldn't you be able to use a diesel turbo?

and also im sure there water cooled would i need any special lines or tapping's for that?

nope but i do beileve there just oil cooled Turbo the SOHC lol im gunna be doing one to lmk if ya need any help

but by chance there both you can find the stuff on tunertoys.com for all the fittings

Not hating I just think you need to do a lot more research before diving into a turbo project, especially if this is your daily driver.

Cause of the temperature that the turbo gets to is too much for any unleaded car.

what ever you say man i kno wat has to go into a car and shit my bottom end will be built and such,just didnt kno if there was a difference with the flanges and such,but thanks for the heads up
