Bigger is better end of story. You really notice the difference after 80mph in the torque.

I don't understand why all these kids keep thinking bigger is always better. I also have no problem showing what a B16 is capable of.

Point that I'm trying to make is this... Whats the difference between a 2.0 liter B16, and a 2.0 liter B16??? Other than the stamp on the block, nothing... Its just as easy to build an 84mmx89mm B16 as it is a B18...

You can get a much better ring package out of a 2.0 b18 than a 2.0 b16. You either have the wrist pin in the oil control rings or a really short rod.

If you've got the money to 'build' the b16 you could always up it to 1.8 or even 2.0L. But if you aren't wanting to get that in depth, a LS/V will defiantly be quicker than a b16 because it has more displacement/torque which I'm sure you were already aware of.

Just remember, there is no replacement for displacement.

i do. i'm just not gonna continue this debate. its gonna last as long as the domestics vs. import debate. its all about the owner and how much cash will be involved or what their preference will be.

Did you read my point. What is your ring package and rod length with a 2.0 b16a. One is going to suck or the other. Taller deck motors FTW.
