Calling all H swapped Civic's and Tegs
well i have a new updat with the raxle axles i have driven with these for over 18,000 miles and the last 3,000 have been turbo, well i havent had any problems until just last week i decided to pull the tranny out and have it rebuilt and have a drag spool put it it so i could hook up for once. well all went well until i took it for the first test drive i was real easy on it and just made a quick 1-2 shift and hammered the throttle after that, when i did the car all of sudden got a really bad vibration where i could not drive so i pulled over to check things out like axles and wheels it seemed ok, well then i had to drive the car home so i went real slow got half way home and had to make a turn and when i did the vibration went away and stayed away so im like what the heck so i took for another drive and as soon as i got into boost this vibration came back (it is bad enough to where i think the wheel is going to fly off) so then all i had to do was make a turn well i did this like 3 times until the vibration did not go away and i got out and the axle is broke. and i think it all has to do with that first time cause the car hooked up hard. what axles can i get for kind of cheap.

i just did the Integra axle with a prelude inner joint on the passanger side. Works fine

how well does your car hook up. cause that in sense was what i was running before and ran it forever, but now after doing this locker the car hooked up like a mother and i think snapped the axle.

then your doing something wrong lol. Do u dump the clutch? or Preload. Stock axles can hold some power. Also do u have traction bars? they will help because you wont get wheelhop *big axle killer*

there was no wheel hop and this was not on a launch. this was shifting into second gear. but when i got into second i hit high boost and got on it hard and with the old diff the car just spun the tires so there was no real stress on the axles but this time it just hooked hard and it just snapped the joint. the car does make a tad over 500whp so i will need to look into better axles but i dont have a 1000 dollars. so let me know if anyone has any options. thanks

no i wasnt even thinking about having ac at the time when i bought my manifold and downpipe and there not ac compatible, if they were i would have ac in a heart beat.

wow, ive been getting 350-380 Miles to a 11 gallon tank (EG SI) driving it back and forth to work. (30 mile drive one way)
