this is no different than the multiple other "scammer" threads that have been posted. the issue was not resolved. i agree that the personal stuff isnt necessary, but other people involved deserve the ablity to comment on this post. locking it takes that away.

and true agendas aside, john(alpha) if you were telling people that they were getting ectune and you were tuning with crome, thats pretty messed up, regardless of the situation and people need to know.
im not saying thats what happened and you have always seemed like a cool guy so i have a hard time believing it, but i dont think john(mtber) would just throw it out there because he is hurting for money.

 

how much is it to buy into eCtune? i'll buy in and let alpha tune in my name then all this will be solved and we can work out a percentage of profits... lol why couldnt that just work? we all know Alpha does great work and have never met him but have seen the work he has done and i would back him 100%. lol

 

I think the fault lies with eCTune that there software is written with an honesty policy this is 2008 and not everyone is a boy scout. Im guessin people on here dont download music, use hacked software or have multiple computers running on the same OS license. I think this should have been addressed in a more professional manner on mtber part. I have dealt with mtber he is a stand up guy that does care about repeat customers. I do honestly feel this thread was an attempt to attack Alphas rep. Dont know Alpha or anything about him so I cant make any comments good or bad. mtber if I see it wrong well sorry I am entitled to my opinion. Who wouldnt want to be one of the sole honda tuners in the area? $$$$ makes people do things out of character. Just my .02 and none of it may be correct.

 

the further this thread goes the more i think everyone should see it. but it started as 2 people talk about eachother and was going no where...

This thread in no way was to attract more business. I already warned you over the phone that Calvin wanted to make this issue public & you acknowledged it.

If I needed more business I could simply start tuning cars for way less money then I charge now & consider volume versus quality when it comes to pricing.
Sure, some people probably hate me for some unknown reason. Perhaps because I don't like tuning cars that are put together with poor quality & cheap parts.

Now ask your self this. How many people hate CFT? How many people disliked brotherz when you worked there? How many people disliked John Solero? How many people dislike other bay area shops like Driven Concepts etc?

To be honest with you this thread is about principal. You lied your customers & my self concerning eCtune. Not to mention you never bothered to make sure Calvin was being paid for his hard work.

He said he would try to get on today if he could, obviously he didn't make it today.

Concerning friendship, I don't want to be friend's with people I can't trust.
I consider what you have done to be manipulative & fraudulent.

Concerning jumping on this for more business: People usually get tuned by the cheapest & quickest solution out there 80% of the time. I know for a fact that I along with LHT are probably the most expensive tuners in the bay area. You don't see me lowering my prices to compete with the competition do you?

Although I appreciate the suggestions, I have no interest in pursuing other vehicles at this time.

Why? I don't like learning on customer's cars. I don't like asking colleagues for help or calibrations.

I have also defended brotherz & alpha when customers talked bs to me about methods which were used at your facility. It is a revolving door of bs talking in this industry.

You overheard alpha & I talking about tuning pricing during a friendly discussion at dinner or breakfast (I don't remember). I informed him that he should charge more for his time for his own benefit.

I made the post to try to release the information in the most unbiased manor I felt possible. However, I am looking like the snitch because I am the messenger.
At this point I don't care how it looks. People should know the truth concerning such an act.
