yeah i can only hope so. with all that money includes parts, shipping, boring, honing, decking, tear down, install and turbo parts.... the whole nine yards. but id rather spend that much to build a fully built motor rather than spending that on a POS type R motor... it doesnt matter wat the stamp is on the side as long as you build it right!

id prefer the b18b had a ef w/ one ran strong. my boy also had one and ran a gutted b16 ef. both w/ basic bolt ran side by side the whole time. ive never been impressed by drop in b16s thats just me tho

i have a EK Hatch with a Stock B18B, I/H/E (210 psi across the board) with a LSD B16 tranny, and my Wife has a 2000 civic Si both with the same bolt ons minus the LSD and my Car beats hers all the time. And the torque difference might not be alot on paper but in city driving the extra torque is worth it IMO

I got a gsr block in my 99si with a b16 head and obd1 gsr ecu thats chipped...It feels really good..big difference from when it was all b16 but I haven't really been able to race anybody yet. I havent seen a worthy opponent on street yet. and everytime I do we can never get on it cause of traffic or something. I would like to line it up with a gsr teg non turbo.. just to see my car's capabilities
