If I was going to build a stock sleeves street lsvtec I'd use:

-b16a pistons
-stock ls rods w/arp bolts, resized
-stock micropolished ls crank, I wouldn't bother balancing.
-gsr head

With all the money I spent on that build I could have gone turbo and probably made double the power, I had to learn the hard way.

i did the same before..went high comp with p30 pistons(jdm b16) but i rebuilt for low comp forged for turbo....

the only way id ever do the lsvtec high comp again is if it was just spare parts..which is why the lsvtec was originally invented..using spare oem parts and puttin them together to make some good power..
