Help With Crank-pulley Bolt

this is what you need...i got one, it works everytime and you dont need another guy. 1/2" rachet, 1/2 breaker bar, and a floor jack handle. put the rachet on the tool, block it against the frame rail, put some extensions on the bolt and use the breaker bar with the jack handle on it you can put down like 1000 FTlbs that way.

PLEASE NOTE: if you have cheap tools they will break! use craftsman or snapon or some other good quality tools. espicially the extensions.

Put it in 5th and hold the breaks, 19mm socket with breaker bar.

has that actually worked for you before? i have had a brand new clutch and jammed the rotor with a screw driver and the clutch still slipped before the bolt came loose. thats why i bought the tool. what kind of clutch did you have?

Thats what you need i have one myself if you do what others are saying you are bound to break something like the tranny casing.

Yeah, I want to go safe, I dont want to mess something else, this is my DD. I saw that tool on the web, but I can't wait 3-5 days until I get it. Is there any place locally that sell it. Where did you guys buy it from??

after some use timing belts are bound to stretch. tighten the tensioner n c if it loosens again. if it does then u have a tensioner problem. and if this is the case id say find a buddy with some air n use a 3/4 inch impact. the thing will come right off. then put it back on with a 1/2 inch impact so that u will b able to break it lose again MUCH easier.

if u cant find any air id recomend the tool thats already been posted. but like everyone said make sure ur tools arent cheap n flimsy bc then ull run into more problems with broken tools. the jack handle end is a GREAT idea. g/l with what ever happens. keep us posted!

Exedy stage 2 thats about to go, yes it worked i did it lastnight, Its what i always do, The clutch slips a little but i just fuckin crank it lol I have the tool and this just works easier for me.
