i have a ls with minor mods port n polish head.st 2 clutch.lightenedfly. i/h/e. and i really like it as DD. so if ur lookin for something torquey n cheap go with an LS

 

In the end go with what you want and not what someone else thinks you should have. I had countless peeps tell me what a mistake I was making to not do the H22 swap but I trust my instincts and it paid off in spades for me. I dont need to be the fastest car out there because no matter what you do there will always be someone faster than you. But I can sympathize with the SOHC as my Mazda has one and it is SSLLOOOOW.

so seein on everyone is saying the samething i said...hmmm Bseries no Hseries...im deciding to keep the single cam for DD and i just bought a teg....hmmm sounds like some fun!

Ls/Vtec with hight compression pistons somewhere around 12.0-1 You'll have a a reliable high revving beast of a motor. The only downside I see to this is you'll have to run premium. You'd have the down low grunt of the ls and the high rpm of a vtec. win win

hmm.....if u want some fun how bout the f20c or f22c from the s2k lol...or theres always that accord v6 motor.....honestly i say h22 but since u got a teg its a mute issue now.
