personally? i have never tried it... if you want i got some stock injectors off of my civic you could try and see if it is in fact the injector that is bad

 

im pretty sure its the headgasket. like chi town brat said there is oil in the overflow can and i put a different plug wire on that cyl. and it didnt do anything. so i guess im just gonna pull the head off and get the gasket. but there definitly isnt water in the oil yet. but it is losing water and running hot.

so any input on pulling the head off? should i get the head resurfaced or whatever? or at least take it and make sure its not cracked or warped? where is the best place to do that at?

 

Had an Acura with exact same problem you are facing. Head gasket was infact blown.
