You will be lucky to get more than 125 whp from a single cam without boosting.

As far as parts go, buy mine!

Our advice is to not waste money on non-turbo parts. Its just a shame to go thru steps some of us have already gone thru with poor resuslts. Knowledge and experiece are priceless.

You might get 15whp from those mods and I believe the 125whp mark is pretty right on. If you want to make more power on a single cam n/a is not the way to go.

Well those are higher numbers, but look at the dollar to hp ratio. Those mods were not cheap and the same or less money gets good turbo parts that are just as relaible. My 98 Y8 has 150k miles,Greddy 19T kit, headstuds, tuned by Vega ,and I just made 240/225 on the rollers 2 weeks ago. If he really likes the n/a thing than do it,but the first race he loses to a mild turbo car and he'll probably be disappointed. HP is like Crack, a small amount is never enough in time.

Call it what you want (asshole ish lol) it's a wast of money!!!
He could build a Home made turbo kit for less then a $1,000 and it would be way more fun.

I'v been there done that, so that is my .02 on this, that's all.
I don't want you to look back and say "damn I should have not spent this money when I could have done this".

Standalone, itb's, and 12:1 compression isn't exactly what this poster was talking about doing. If I had to spend $2500+ to run a 14.0 with 170 whp then I'd be pretty pissed when you can put that same $2500 into a turbo kit and run 12's.

I'll stand by my statement that the original poster won't make more than 125whp with those mods, 130 at the most on an optimistic dyno.

Im with this guy.

With $2500 he could buy and boost a B20 and be in the 200s without a problem, or like KJ said, have a 12 second turbo D.
