What is so special about the kseries swaps that people spend so much money on them?
For the money i see most swaps go for, you could have a built ass crazy fast b or h series and still have money left.
Im new to the Honda scene, so if its something obvious to most people im sorry, i just cant fiqure it out. Thanks for the responses guys.

go look at a dyno chart and ull c why. linear power, gobs of tq, 6 speed, is everything that the b or h sereis is not.

 

and from what I've seen so far they do very well on boost.

 

^^^ +1 yea the k series sleevs seem to b bullet proof. that and the limits of the k have yet to be reached.

i think he means for the same money it would cost him a k-series, he could have a fully built b-series engine. its true

the k-series is a better platform and has better technology so in the end you will make more power than the b-series

Keep in mind that a stock K be it 2.0 or 2.4 will make more power than most built B motors. stock RSX head on a stock CRV block will net you 230's WHP and 180+ TQ. stock k20a2 w/ swap header and Kpro is good for 210whp and 150-160 TQ. All w/ factory reliability.
