yea, i know, but i was just using it as an example that a $1500 turbo isn't needed. And you can get lucky looking around on Honda tech and find some shop specials or something.

Like others have said. You can find a new Garrett T3/TO4 turbo for around $550.00 - $600.00 new with warranty. Stick with quality parts. TiAL 38mm, TiAL blowoff valve, etc.
