Default turbo ?S

well imma through together a parts list for a turbo kit on a stock ls motor..nothing crazy just something to push mid 2s with..

now what i want to know is..wastegates..what is some trusted brands ? i know Tial and turbonetics ..are there any others? im not going for top dollar but im not going for XS either..just want midrange setup..any help is appreciated..

and from what ive read recently the ebay turbos are better just the O-ring or something is still a problem?? idk just any insight..i plan to buy a blox log manifold soon and want to start piecing things together..thanks for any help..

just go w/ a tial wastegate. i wouldnt get a ebay turbo get a garrett. why get a shitty turbo w/ a good wastegate. the tial gate and xs gate are basicallty the same they use the same diaphram and all. only diff is the ecthing

look around on this site and on the orlando forums theres enough parts between the 2 sites to build you a nice lil kit for the low... G/L

Follow the parts list and stuff from my build thread. Pretty basic setup and works well.

What are you trying to accomplish ?

Tial is not expensive & works great.

Concerning turbos, you can buy a Genuine Garrett turbo or Precision turbo & call it a day. I personally would rather use a Precision shelf turbo.

If you don't have the funding to go turbo properly, do your self a favor and drop the idea.

i have the funding i just dont want to buy a $1500 turbo when i dont want nothing more then 250whp...thanks for advice..ill go look over ur build Kj.

you won't need to spend $1500 on a turbo, you can get brand new precision turbo's for $500, sc34, sc50, sc61, ect....

Brand new precision turbos for $500 ?
You can find Garrett for around $500.

Randy, not everybody gets factory precision discounts

Precision turbos usually run on average $750 now.
