cottons gonna act like a wall...... do u really think that air can go through cotton smoothly?

and PS: we've driven in the rain like 4 times this week fastest speed probably 70ish and no water..

Yeah exactly, the cotton will block out any kind of air, obviously.

I'm not saying it heats up the air...

hheh wow you ever seen Stirght hurricane wind i did not mean it as in cotton just as in put something there to me i dont care its his car his motor his towing bill when it locks when his not thinking about it in the rain..but as for me already seeing someone do this and the out come i know i would not to my car..just use some a/c filter or woven filter..

The air filter doesn't restrict any kind of power, how do I know this? I dyno'ed with and w/o the filter, no change.

As for stuffing cotton and gauze in my intake pipe, I'm willing to bet THAT will restrict air.
