high compression or low compression?
well i found a pulley that will run it at 14psi?
honestly before you build it what kind of boost are you lookin for that'll help figure out what pistons as far as comp. and bore as well as if you need sleeves or just a block guard ive also heard a little about block posting but i wouldnt trust it i had a sleeved gsr with 8.8 compression and standard bore easily handling 25 lbs so...

The stock ls motor will handle more then the jrsc unit can probably dish out on your ls.
Your biggest issue is going to be fighting heat which will lead to detonation.
JRSC setups run very hot intake air temperatures. With this in mind, I suggest you get your self an LHT jrsc cooler.
Another vital issue is tuning. You are going to need the proper sized injectors, fuel pump & fuel management system.
Honestly I am not a big fan of JRSC setups. By the time you buy the JRSC, install it, buy a cooling system, a nice header etc... you are already in the range of a turbo charged setup that will yield much more potential.

For a supercharged car I'd run 10:1 compression pistons. Stock sleeves are fine. The LHT intercooler is a great item, we had alot of success with it a couple years ago on a supercharged gsr motor. Another thing to consider if you don't want to spring for the intercooler setup right now is to keep the small 6psi pulley and run a wet shot nitrous. This does two things. One it cools the intake charge a good bit leading to more power and it makes power just like nitrous should. I've seen a gain of 60+ whp on a 35 shot on jrsc cars due to the cooler intake temps.
I believe the ls jrsc kit runs the m44 blower I believe and they do not like running much more than 6 psi. They will heat the air way too much if you try running 9psi or so. If you want to do that the lht cooler is a MUST.

so ur saying it will handle 14 psi? cause a found a pulley that will make it at 14.

The weakest link would be the cast piston's ringlands.
Honestly 14 psi on a jrsc that is not running colder iat's then a normal jrsc setup is simply asking for problems...
