low compression on boosted cars = no low end power
im running 10:2 and 22psi, nice lowend and kick ass top end.

If you want some good pistons check out Endyne and ask about their skirt and dome coatings

low comp. high will make a little better power but the low will be safer and still alow plenty of boost and power.

if you want a beast....tear her down...Go with 9:1 cr...(around stock) and build her...such as..
*head studs.around 100 bux.
*block guard.around 100 bux.
*Shot peened or forged rods. 250 and up.
*Forged pistons.
*main studs.
*good head geasket.
maybe more...that would let yu handle some good power safely...
Holla...rep love...and G/L!!!

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

honestly before you build it what kind of boost are you lookin for that'll help figure out what pistons as far as comp. and bore as well as if you need sleeves or just a block guard ive also heard a little about block posting but i wouldnt trust it i had a sleeved gsr with 8.8 compression and standard bore easily handling 25 lbs so...

its pinning...its were yu tap into the block from all angles and screw bolts in to where they ae just resting on the sleeves, giving them rigidity..or strength...I hear it is quite affective...I wanted to try it with my build...

its ok i have done only 2motor build where we tried this...my advise BUY A BLOCKGUARD!!!!!! it is not worth the time plus is limited cause you need up top not mid level and a block guard does that for you.......for me i say buy some gsr pistons for you motor and keep the boost the same LET YOUR MOTOR do more work not the supercharger
