from what i remember, most people upgrade to a GSR brake master cylinder and brake booster as well as the proportioning valve. i believe the pipe sizing is bigger therefore offer more pressure.

the only problem is you have to custom-fab the metal lines because the GSR brake MC lines up differently from the civic.

Why you are not stopping is that you are using ceramic pad. when you do brake upgrades like that it is recomended to at least use semi-metalic pads and a 500 mile easy driving break in period.

Semi-mettalic Will Give You Better Stopping Power May Wear Faster Since It Has Metal Deposits Ceramic Less Brake Dust.

I have a EK, and to upgrade my proportion valve is completely BOLT IN. now I havent done research on EG's but Im sure there is some generation(maybe DA) that will let him use a integra proportion valve without running new lines.

And to the OP, I wouldnt worry about the brake booster and everything. just find out which proportion valve fits your car and change that out and you should be set.

in a EF when you using parts from DA everything fits no mods. the booster bolt up with no problem as well as the master cylinder and the proportinoing valve. the rear disc conversion fits perfectly. it is recomemnded to change at least your rear trailing arm bushing. it is said also to use the booster and master cylinder to get better pedal feel and response, and trust me its nice. in stopping in my car you could get whiplash from the forward momentum when stopping if you just stomp on it!

yes, the proportioning valve is a direct drop-in. but the brake master cylinder is not. in the civic, the metal brake lines do not line up in the same positions of an integra brake MC.

Once again, if you get the right one it IS a direct drop in. But once again, thats for EK, not sure about the EG.

my bad, after researching more:
integra LS brake MC and brake booster are completely bolt-in.
GSR and ITR brake MC and brake booster are not bolt-in. brake lines are differnt size and need to be rebent as well.

and if i'm wrong again, my bad.
