Oh and believe me the motor is perfectly balanced I watched the crank spin at 11,000 rpms with the flywheel clutch and crank pully attatched at the machine shop before I picked it up with no vibration whatsoever.

i dont want to be a ass about this but balanceing to me does nothing cause it will be put into the motor unless it is somehow balanced while the mains are tq down and pistons never mind...but i dont have either ac mount nor lower tranny mount on mine and my motor will not move a in. im just giving opinion for what i saw im sorry..i myself have never balanced any of the motors i have done and none have a problem....maybe like mtber said its the video but to me something is not right...but if your happy with it who cares what i say glad all is running on your build

I guess we all have our opinions, your not coming off like an ass by the way I know you've built way more motors and have a lot more experience than I have since this is my first build. Are you running stock mounts? I guess we'll see what happens when I throw the hasports in.

I just went through this whole thread again and damn... those were some good times. Just to let everyone know the motor is still running strong. And things I've learned since then: DONT use the p30 headgasket that golden eagle sends out, use an LS headgasket and bore the dowel pin holes. Still no dyno tune, And I'm finally going to run it at track event 19. Thats it.
