Is a valve adjustment on a car similar to the valve adjustment on any other small motor/motor cycle? I can do valve adjustments perfect on motorcylce type engines but never tried it out on a car. I have feeler gauges and a wide array of tools.

its not really hard at all, just line the teeth in the same position as u would at TDC or u can put a long extensin in the sparkplug hole and get each cylinder TDC that way.

this is similar for non vtec as well, except u dont have to remove the cams, u just stick in the feeler gauge, tighten/losen till u get it right, and ur set...i did mine with a flat head, a socket and the 4 dollar feeler gauge from advance auto part...and yea the tdc was a pain but after the first 2 valves the rest were easy...first time doing this took me like 45 mins, if i had to do it again it would take about 20 mins TOPS...
