By the time you buy the tool, feeler gauges, tq wrench etc. You are much better and safer off by having someone who knows what they are doing perform the task with high quality tools.

The tool I posted above works perfect for adjusting valves,I never adjusted valves before, boiught that tool and gave it a shot, and it was alot easier than I thought

blah i use a standard box end wrench and a flat head....generic feeler gauge's and go to town....i've prolly did this atleast 20 times....very easy, just i learned to wear gloves as my knuckles always get a beating....

that goes hand in hand with working on cars in general. I work on big rigs & cars for a living & Im always all busted up & filthy..

Rep given. That is a pretty good find for that tool. My snap-on one was a lot more than that and is very similar. Valve adjustment is not difficult and people have to start learning sometime I guess.

I weld a long 10mm 3/8" socket to an 11mm 3/8" socket and then weld an A/C bolt to the side of the 11mm socket and then stick a screw driver through it. Works great for over 8 years and counting.

This is 1 of my old post but I thought id bring it back for ppl who would like to Do-it-Yourself. I personally have that same tool, 20 valve adjustments and tool is still in mint condition
