If I got time this weekend Ill come over & look at it with you in the day light & look over it again but, Im pretty sure it is the head gaskett minimum.

 

i think you are probably right.

im having a similar prob with my LS, and its funny cuz i never thought it woulda been a HG issue until i found i only have 60 psi of compression and im losing coolant on a daily basis.

i would agree that at a minimum, you need a HG.

 

just spray a 100shot on it and see if the HG holds, if it is damaged it'll really go when you spray it.

 

lol hell if you want to do all that just put a 200 shot on it & enjoy it for a run or 2 down the track..

 

I may be in the same boat but, Im not 100% sure & not realy worried bc Im building my motor now & I run my car hard. I think it just stays low on water. It never gets hot & i never put water in it. It just isnt full. I have filled it when I got it but, then it would be gone again & I stopped filling it like a few months ago & it is fine never gets warm & sometimes I run it hard.

 

fuck it i hate the damn car anyway if its not sold or traded by next friday then im just going to drop the motor and give it to my brother and junk the shell...
