Default H22A Type S into ef hatch

Im planning on swapping the 97-98 H22A Type S motor into my 90 si hatch and was just wanting to know what kind of modifications would have to be done in order for this motor to fit. As far as supension, frame work, wiring, etc. Any help would be nice. Also the motor puts out 220hp 163lbs of torque. What knid of times should i be looking to get with this setup??

And it's almost 200lbs heavier than a B16. You're gonna have to do a lot of suspension upgrades as well as a rear disk conversion with that kind of extra weight up front.

I cant give you specifics at the moment though...Lemme research it more and I'll try to get back to you.

sport compact put a h22 into a crx ran 14s all motor on drag radials, i dont really think it is worth it, you gonna have to bang the shit out of y ou f/w, cut the tranny mount to relocate it, put in a prelude shifter box. custom axles. bang the shit out the frame so the tranny will clear, run tractions bars or cut the shit out your front crossmember. rewire your harness. im sure there is more to it. search sport compacts website for it,

Research on Hondatech.com about H2B swaps. Way better than using the h-series tranny.

power wise I dont think its worth it, but if your doing to be different go for it cuz it's not something you see everyday

you could see the same numbers with a supercharged or turboed b-series

Um no. You really need to pull your head out of your ass and learn something before you talk. All the stuff you are talking is not necessary.

As far as the swap goes, get the hasport kit, it's basicly a drop in process with not that much wiring. Your going to have to run an aftermarket front X member and SLightly modify the rear.

Not really. It ALL depends on how the tranny is geard. The ONLY downfall the the H swap is the tranny being so long, but that can be fixed with a Good short final drive.

H series are great swaps, they cost as much as a b16 but make WAY WAY more power.

A h22 Type S, with some good cams, header and some minor tweaking will make more power then a "built" B series vtec motor, hands DOWN.

they DO NOT way that much more then a bseries, MAYBE 50lbs.

Btw a FULL h22 swap runs about 1900. In and in the car running under 3k.
