Oh yeah, I forgot he was using oem pistons. I had a 84x89 in a gsr block and was able to keep my squirters with JE pistons, but when I changed to the +.137 rod with wiseco pistons, they had to be removed.

So do all oem pistons require the removal of the squirters when using the LS crank?

I'm not running OEM pistons. I have Carillo Rods (LS spec) and Weisco 84.5 mm 12:1 pistons. I had to remove the squirters.
