Default a/c only cold while driving, hot when stopped.

the condensor fan comes on, it's got freeon, etc. what could this be? it's getting really aggrivating..

thats not it, when i hold the gas it gets cold above like 3k, im not turning it up that high... lol

could it be the clutch on the compressor?

You need to check the pressures with some ac gauges. Sounds more like you got air in the system. Make sure your condensor is clean also.

+1 ....evacuate the system thoroughly and install some new freon...

can be a few things, gauges will tell the tale along with someone that understands what they mean. g/l, let me know if you are in the area and i will check it out for you.

I have been AC certified and r12 certified by ASE for 8 years r134 and r12 is not just "air". Thats one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. If you have air in your system and have not vacuumed it your ac will NOT work properly. Air will cause the system to freeze up or the drier to get saturated.

air has moisture, moisture freezes clogging up passage ways. refrigerant needs a dry environment to work properly. I ain't even certified and I know that.
