20 bux says you get it to 13:1 - 13:3, it will be faster. Thats the recommended a/f at WOT. 14:7 is good for part throttle. And i like 15:1 - 15:5 at idle.

I agree that 14.3:1 a/f ratio is a bit lean at full load for an n/a motor with decent compression

I would recommend going by what "you like" I would recommend going with what the motor likes

I wouldn't worry to much about only pulling 17inches of vacuum with those cams. Cams and cam timing can alter vacuum

As far as dyno numbers......... don't fall into the numbers game. Different dynos give different numbers and can be adjusted to whatever you want it to say. Just because someone on HT hit 250 hp with your same setup doesn't mean you will.

Get a damn 94+ dohc vtec distributor cap for starters.

Yes, needs way more compression. pull the head off and bring it over. ill measure and make sure that the head has been milled. -Neal

i have 220 across the board with same engine, my head is stock, and his is built, and im putting down the same HP as him, and more torque than him.
