Angela's friend David over in Rockledge. The work is very nice. I had Neal reassemble the head and I heard he was quite impressed with the job done on it.

If tuned correctly, shouldn't waste anything.

I tried many cam timing variations on the dyno with no success.

Syncing the ignition timing to the dizzy/ecu was not fun to do w/out the lower plastics installed.

I tried +2, +2, | -2, -2, | +4, +2, | -4, -1, | 0, 0 | -1, -1, | +1, +1 | 0, +2 | 0, -2
I can't remember what else :-/

Anyhow, the setup was only pulling around 17 inches of vac at idle for the most part which is not a good indicator. I instructed Jason to perform a leakdown & compression test. I also instructed him to install lower timing covers for future purposes.

I would have take a shot in the dark & say its a leak down issue :-/

Regardless, Jason is a good guy & I hope its a simple fix.

Yea, I'll install it and get in touch as soon as I get more funds for dyno time. I'm confident this setup should get what I'm hoping for ... but it being my first build, I might have done something incorrectly. Costly? Yea, but thats how you learn I suppose. Thanks.

It isn't uncommon for B's to pull low vacuum depending on cam setting. I'd definitely say run a leakdown test.
