K20 head is the best way to go

k24 bottom end combined with k20 head is a beast

With a proper sized Turbo and Turbo Cams 460whp was made at 15lbs on a k20 STOCK motor with only Air fuel tuning and no ignition advance on 93 octane

Well someone said they made 467whp@12.8lbs so at 15lbs you should be at 500whp. Then someone claimed they made 560whp @17lbs. What is the deal?

Ron you should know out of all people the thing.

467 @13lbs on a 2.4 block with race gas on a T4 Gt35R

the one I mentioned made 460whp at 15lbs on 93 octane with a 2.0 block on the same T4 Gt35R with no stock timing tables.

I think thats pretty feasible.

Its all turbo sizing and obviously displacement and tuning.

Ive never heard of the one of 560whp@17lbs

but obviously if you have a 42R or somethign crazy like that on a 2.4 block itd be possible.

Well i guess my idea of a safe tune an someone elses are two totally different things. I run my car rich at about 11.7 A/F even on C16. My motor also has 150 dyno passes on it that i can count. 100 at Race Related alone. That motor has yet to blow up and the motor has been down the track about 20 passes. My motor also has the cam gears at zero. These numbers on the K series are impressive. How long will these motors last? Do you know how much timing or the a/f they are running to get the #'s they do?

st00pid is a great tuner

he wants to also keep things safe

I believe he tunes for 11.5-12.0 AFs

Timing on the tunes I was referring to were close to stock, which means very low

but I cant compare to the B series since obvioulsy K series has diffent cam angles and differeint timing values at each depending on boost level and how the cam profile for hte angles looks like

how long will the motors last? who knows they are stock motors, you know how that goes.
