If it makes any difference. Ive been a Honda tech for 10+ years and ive used it on my ITR trans . when i purchased it where was a slight 3rd gear grind. i droped the honda mtf and added syncromesh and a week later the grind was completely gone. If your trans doesnt have a problem just use the honda mtf . I only use it if im trying to save a trans from a rebuild.

then i definitly need it. as some people know, my 3rd gear grinds like a mofo. ill try the synchromesh and we'll find out

i thought there needs to be some friction on the synchros itself for them to work properly. i heard its not good if they're way too lubed, not sure as too how though. as for me honda mtf.

well ive seen the autozone syncromesh work and it really did so i bought some straight from gm a couple days ago without even seeing this post and im gunna throw it in today and from what i heard theres a noticable difference between the autozone mesh and gm ill let you know if i notice a difference
