question about injectors...any takers?
Yes, the resitor box is only to, putting it simple, give power to them, but you already have one in your car, so yo do not have to do anything, just plug them in.
That mad tyte JDM "spoon" ebay chip, aint worth shit, it is probably just a map with advanced timing. The good thing is that the ECU is already socketed. All you need to do is get someone like mtber to burn you a basemap for turbo applications, or look into uberdata or chrome, you can burn your own chips and tune the car, like a standalone ECU, but free. Take out your chip and put the new one in.
I believe CFT offer those services also, then they can tune your car. Your chip will not control the injectors. you are almost doubleing their capacity, and your ECU doesn't know that so you will just drown your engine with gas.
an AFC will work to run them, this is usually easier to figure out than chipping your own ECU.

ok, im not goin turbo i dont think, im putting in itr pistons for more compression, and i think you have to have less compression for a turbo, so i may just go n/a, as for the spoon chip....should i even get it installed? my ecu is "socketed"? so what should i get done to my ecu? where and how much will it cost...i appreciate ur help
Yeah I might have misunterstood the turbo/NA, but the way it works it's still the same.
If you have not installed the chip yet, don't. To install a chip you need to unsolder/take out the chip from your ECU. In it's place you need to solder in a socket, it's like a base to plug in the new chip, kinda like an extension this makes it easy to swap chips. Then you put the chip in that socket.
You still need a chip,or a new fuel map, that will control/scale down those injectors. Factory integra injectors flow at what, 240cc's, the DSM's are 450's.
Mtber sells ECU's already chipped pretty cheap, this way it would be plug and play, take the old one out, put the new one in. Maybe you can send your ECU to get chipped. Or search around, there's a few big names that do chipping too.

so the "spoon" chip does nothing huh, so its not even worth it to get the socket and put in then plug the spoon one in...so mtber does this work and or sells a ecu with a chip in it already? what would be cheaper, give him my ecu and pay him to put a socket and good chip in there, or just buy one chipped already from him....and how much is " pretty cheap"? thanks
Check his website, search for the member, or he'll probably post here soon for specific questions. You could put the socket in, that's fine, but those ebay chips, assuming it is an ebay chip, only give you pretty much advanced timing and maybe a little more fuel, but that's not what you want to make real power, or to run the 450's.
