b17 turbo
hondata+450cc dsm's+walbro 255lph hp+10psi+b16+88 crx si= 26mpg and one hell of a quick ride. I just wish I'd have checked that the motor was healthy first, bad rings and boost don't mix.
your 5-7 is no problem on a stock motor, just make sure your fuel pump can put out enough, your injectors will need a bump in size, and fuel management is the only way to go. listen to mtber he always has good advice.

true about his fuel pump but if its a healthy fuel pump it should be able to take 5 to 7lbs. but if you have the time and money go ahead and upgrade it.

was lookin to get a 255 n e ways *mtber* i have the stock b17a1 gsr ecu (obd1) how much would it be to chip it...and would that be sufficent for fuel management?.(with the injectors and 255)
what should the comp. test read for it to be ok for this...
and what about the clutch....how will the stock one hold up to it ( i know not to well but what would be better for turbo)
motor isnt in the car yet so id rather do all the tranny work before i put it in (ys1 tranny)
and how much would a good clutch for turbo run me?
(sorry for all the questions havent built my own turbo project yet)

yeah stock clutch wont hold together. your really lookin more for a consistency between the cylinders when you do a compression test. just make sure they are within 5% each other. I believe thats what honda recomends im not sure off the top of my head
