Does compression test #'s tell comp ratio??

P.S. My car made 180 all the way across after only an hour of running... Not bad for my first motor...

Was this a stab at me???...Ive built about 20 motors... I got this one at a super good deal and it had 40miles on it..Im not trying to start nothing with you cause you seem like a cool guy..If this was not directed towards me I appologize in advance

He put it in went to brandon it started making a horriable knocking sound...Took it back out was thought to have spun a rod bearing..Come to find out the flywheel came lose and that was the knocking..By then he had done bought a B20 so I scouped the engine up at a super good deal

Nah that was not directed to anyone really... I honestly know nothing about who built whos motor, I just like the satisfaction that I finally built my own and its still running with a little over 2000 miles so far Its all good

Yea don't do it after you been running autocross for an hour ... the engine is way beyond warm/hot

We did the compression test again after I drove it to the shop, had done some repairs and the engine had the proper time to cool down to a reasonable temprature for testing. Because like you stated you want the rings expanded for accuracy.
