i have a 91 b16a head...i got this from a friend under the understanding that it was a good head and that it wil work...if not no big deal i get something else...the head has been milled....can anyone tell me how much it has been milled....the height of the head is 5.543 from surface of head to v.c. rail....the shop that i took it to verified the height with painted markings on the sides of the head from the previous machine shop but were unable to tell me how much it was milled because they did not have the specs for the head....any help would be appreciated...thanks

 

bump...i really need to know...i know there are a few of you smart and educated people out there that can guide me along....

 

well i dont know the specs but i believe the measurement is made from the cam journal to surface.

 

just take a picture of the underside we should be able to guesstamate i think b16 has around from what i have done the b16 heads have 3mm space from the chamber

 

i dont have any way to take a pic...no digi cam....but if anyone else out there has the specs that would probably help....
