I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

The Vtec dizzy will not plug on the A6 wires. The plugs don't match. I think the obd1 dizzy has 1 or 2 more wires than the obd0 dizzy. I used an A6 dizzy on mine.

The distributor you want to use is dependant on the ECU that you use.
OBD 0 ECU = a6 dist.
OBD 1 ECU = z6 dist.
OBD 2 ECU = y8 dist.

ok...lets try to clear this all the way up.
The mounting points for the distributor is the same for 88-91 cylinder heads and the 96-00 cylinder heads.
The 92-95 cylinder head distributor mounting point is offset requiring some modification if not using the 92-95 distributor.
As previously mentioned, the distributor you need depends on the ecu you intend to run AND the head you intend to use.

You can use the OBD 0 distributor/OBD 1 head/ OBD 0 ECU combo. The head doesn't make that much of a differance. Sure, you'll have to modify the mounting holes on the legs of the dist., but it will still work. The most important part of this is, like I said, the ECU and dist. must be the same OBD era.
