A friend of mine has an accel 300+ complete ignition kit for my integra that he is going to give me. what i was wondering if its worth putting on my car seeing as i have only the basic mods such as I/H/E? Any info would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Will

 

stock honda is good till 600 hp.... i wouldn't change it, it's only asking for trouble.

 

Personally....I wouldn't waste my time on that.

 

its always nice to have a external coil though, but as far as a igniton box the stock system is good enough, for spark plug wires I try to get OEM honda wires they seem to work the best and just as good as any name brand shit

 

i just switched to an MSD external coil and dizzy cap... felt a little bit of difference especially with misfiring... car starts up quicker and runs better overall... the only problems i had were wiring it up by myself... i didnt splice the wires good enough and they came apart... after i did it right it hasnt had any problems whatsoever... if your friend is just giving it to you for free then take it... if he wants more than $100 then forget about it... ultimately its up to you though... hope this helps out a little bit bro
