Default homemade turbo kit questions

i have an 88 crx Si i bought for 500 bucks blown up(compression all messed up), i went to my local junkyard to look for a new engine, but couldnt find one. i found a d15b6 (hf) block from a mechanic for 40bucks so i got it and bolted it to the si head(compression great now). Now that u know the set-up i want to know if its safe to boost this set-up and also i want to know what else i would need to complete this turbo set-up for a safe everyday driver(5-9 psi if possible). i dont know if the HF block cant stand up to the abuse of forced induction. this is my kit that i have so far.

Rebuilt tdo5h-14b with o2 housing
Starion FMIC
1g BOV
S-AFC
1g 450cc Injectors
OBX Adjustable FPR
HF Manifold with Adapter plate
All Nesseceary Hoses for Turbo coolant and oil lines
Guage pod with boost guage and a/f guage

Do i need an upgraded fuel pump too?? all help is appreciated

thanxs

I dont know how stout 1.5's are so i wouldnt know.If the fuels there u should be fine at that low boost.I would highly reccomend a fuel pump upgrade. The turbo wont clear your croosmember so u have to rotate the turbo, make a custom downpipe,or get an aftermarket x-member.The cheapest way out is just cut into the x-member.U seem to have pretty much everything but charge pipes and the fuel pump.

fuel pump isnt really need but wouldnt be a waist of your time in the long run and as for the block as long as it is in good shape with no weak points the pistons should go before the block does....id also recomend and egt gauge for your gauge set up

Yeh, just finish goofing around with a homemade d16 turbo. You want an egt for sure and a safc or something just to hold you out if you have any problems with fuel. Car runs fine right now at 5psi and with 130,xxx on the odo.
