my brothers pos 90 ef 4 door civic will start but immediatly shut down... The fuel pump does not prime. i checked the ecu fuse and it is fine, i didn't see any fuses for the actual fuel pump, i would first like to test the wire and see if it is getting power but i don't know its location or color and second i would like to know if taking the pump out on this car is dropping the tank or taking out the back seat. My solution to this problem would be selling it to a junk yard but my father just bought it for him so i guess he doens't want to lose out.... anyway any help would be appreciated so i can waste as little time as possible fixing this car.

well it ended up being the ignition switch. now i just need to find a junk yard with that car in it.

 

where is the ignition switch cause i just bought a 93 del sol for 1k cause it wont start, it has gas and power and turns over but wont start up, theres no spark when i tested the plug wires. any help you can give? if you dont have time to type just call me at 727-505-1251 thanks

well i need the hook up however plant city is a little far for an ignition switch (not the locking part, just the actual switch)

 

JUST cut the 2 yellow/black wires hook them into a toggle then you have a sfaty kill switch so no one can steal the car worked for me ans still works price 1.39
